Build Up: Leicester V Liverpool
There's never a dull day for Leicester City in recent times, from winning the Premier League title last year to finding themselves in a relegation battle now, and since the dismissal of Claudio Ranieri last week, fans are curious to see what sort of reaction the Foxes will have. Liverpool are in town, with ambitions of moving back into the top four of the Premier League.
Prior to the match this evening, some Leicester City fans have been seen marching through the City in protest to the firing of Ranieri, a manager who the supporters loved, after he lead the team to a success that they never thought possible last season. A hearse has also been seen outside the King Power Stadium, bearing the message "RIP FOOTBALL", in reference to such a popular manager in the game being dismissed, when arguably Leicester find themselves in a position in the league that you would expect them to be.
After a run of disappointing performances, Liverpool come into this game after a much better result, a 2-0 win over Tottenham. Following that match, Liverpool have had a 15 day rest, meaning that their fresh legs may cause problems for the hosts. Liverpool will be without captain Jordan Henderson however, who misses out with a foot injury. James Milner will take the armband.
