Alexandre Lacazette set for Arsenal transfer?

Arsenal could reportedly be in line to sign Alexandre Lacazette this summer, according to French journalist Julien Laurens.
The France international has been the standout performer for Lyon in recent seasons, and he is now prepared to pursue a fresh challenge abroad.
Lacazette has been a player often linked with Arsenal in recent seasons, and Laurens hints that the marksman could be off to England during the summer transfer window.
"He could go to England – whether that’s Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham I don’t know," Laurens told BT Sport. "They will have to pay around £40/£50million for him."
Arsene Wenger's side had tabled a £30m bid for Lacazette prior to the start of the season, but their offer was deemed to below the £50m mark which had been fixed by Les Gones' hierarchy.
Lacazette has netted over 20 goals in each of his last three years at Les Hones, but it is this season where he has stood out with 27 goals in all competitions - including a goal a game in 22 league outings.
The Gunners have lacked the presence of a specialist centre-forward, who could prove a menace in front of goal, and this could urge them to compete with the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham for Lacazette this summer.
Lacazette in on course for his first 30-goal season in the French league - an ambition which he hopes to achieve ahead of his potential departure.
