Chelsea must pay £70m for BvB forward
Premier League leaders Chelsea have been told to pay a club-record sum if they are to sign Borussia Dortmund ace Marco Reus in the summer.
The Blues' boss Antonio Conte is due to bring in a couple of recruits in the summer despite the impressive performance from his current crop of players.
According to The Express, Dortmund have expressed interest in cashing in on Reus over the summer, but the Blues will not get the player on the cheap.
The German international has had his injury concerns over the years, but he appears to come up with the goods, every time he gets onto the pitch.
Reus missed nearly the entire first-half of the season through injury, but this has not affected his progress with six goals and five assists in just 14 appearances.
Chelsea gained a record £60m selling fee from the sale of Oscar to Shanghai SIPG earlier in the year, and they will have sufficient funds to match Reus' £70m price tag in the summer.
The 27-year-old is back in the physio room with a thigh injury sustained in the 6-2 thumping of Bayer Leverkusen - which has ruled him out of the Champions League clash against Benfica.
