Chelsea, Arsenal plan to raid for Man Utd winger
Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal could be prepared to fight it out for the services of Manchester United contract rebel Jesse Lingard.
The England international has been in a contract standoff with United for a while with the club reluctant to match his stunning demands of a £100,000-a-week salary - three times his current package.
Lingard is approaching the final year of his Old Trafford deal, and his situation has alerted both the Blues and the Gunners, The Sun reports.
Blues boss Antonio Conte sees the attacker as the perfect for the wing-back role while his versatility could also be used upfront.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have held a keen interest since the turn of the year, and they are prepared to lure the Englishman, who has the habit of getting the key goal in the finals.
Lingard has been with United since the age of seven, but it appears that the club could be forced to offload him on a cut-price deal this summer, should he maintain his stance on the wages.
