Mino Raiola: Zlatan not joining Napoli

Zlatan unlikely to pursue his dream move to Napoli this summer

Agent Mino Raiola has insisted that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be joining Napoli once his Manchester United contract expires in the summer.

The big Swede joined the Red Devils on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last year and has since impressed with 26 goals across all competitions.

Despite being 35, Ibrahimovic has proved his deadly instincts in front of goal, and Jose Mourinho admitted last month that he would like to extend the veteran's stay for at least another season.

In a report covered by Corriere dello Sport yesterday, Ibrahimovic had refused to rule out a move to Naples, but this appears to have been quickly dismissed by Raiola, who admits that the deal won't happen in the summer.

"Ibra to Napoli? Forget it. Zlatan won't be in Naples [next season]. This dream won't come true," Raiola told Radio Kiss Kiss in Italy.

Ibrahimovic currently has a one-year extension attached to his United contract which could be activated, should he decide to do so. He is also the subject of interest from MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy, who are prepared to offer him an annual wage of around £15m-a-year.
