Chelsea going strong at the top of the Premier League
As the Premier League nears it's conclusion, Chelsea know that the fate of the Premier League is in their hands, keep winning and the trophy will be on it's way to Stamford Bridge. On Sunday, they took on an Everton side that had an outside chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
After a goalless first half at Goodison Park, Chelsea took control of this fixture in the second half. The break through came when Pedro's long range effort spectacularly hit the back of the net.
Ten minutes from time, Gary Cahill got his name on the score sheet again with a close range finish, doubling Chelsea's lead and securing the points. The Chelsea fans were treated with another goal before their journey back to London, when Willian tapped in four minutes before the end.
With four games to go, Chelsea are still holding off a late Tottenham challenge. Victory in three of those games will see the Premier League trophy move back to Stamford Bridge and reward Antonio Conte with success in his first season with the club, which could also include an FA Cup victory too.
