Chelsea prepared to sanction Willian sale
Premier League leaders Chelsea will reportedly listen to offers for Brazilian winger Willian during this summer's transfer window. Antonio Conte is eager to recoup as much funds to go on a spending spree.
Willian, 28, had had a tough campaign in the Blues shirt this term despite being named the club's Player of the Year for the 2015/16 season.
A report from The Mirror suggests that Conte would be willing to sanction the sale of Willian in order to accumulate funds to move for his preferred transfer targets.
The Brazil international has started just 13 league games all season, and he will be well aware of the need for regular playing time with the World Cup coming along next year.
Former Blues Jose Mourinho had tried to pursue Willian for Manchester United last summer, and the 54-year-old could yet revive his interest this summer with Chelsea open to the player's departure.
Despite his limited gametime this term, Willian has managed to amass 11 goals and three assists across all competitions for the west London giants.
