Sunderland star tipped to join Everton
Everton are reportedly deemed favourites to pursue the services of Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form over the course of the campaign despite the Black Cats' failure to beat the Premier League drop.
David Moyes on Friday suggested that the club would keep hold of their asset for at least another year, but a big-money bid could tempt them to cash in on their shot-stopper.
According to The Sun, Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is planning a £17m approach for Pickford, who only earned his Black Cats debut earlier last year.
The young goalie is only in the reckoning for the national team role after being called up by Three Lions coach Gareth Southgate earlier in the campaign.
Everton have utilised the services of both Maarten Stelekenburg and Joel Robles for the number one role, but Koeman is now prepared to act by recruiting a goalkeeper capable of cementing his position.
