Antoine Griezmann has reportedly told Real Madrid that he wants to join Manchester United this summer and has already agreed personal terms with them.

The rumor of Griezmann moving to Real Madrid has not been slowing down even though Los Blancos and Atletico Madrid are fierce rivals.

However, new reports emerging from the Sun looked to put an end to those Real Madrid rumors with news that Griezmann has agreed personal terms with Manchester United, with a salary of £280,000-a-week that will run for 5 years.

Manchester United will meet the £89 million buy-out clause slapped onto Griezmann by Atletico Madrid, possibly making him the most expensive player in history. The Sun is also reporting that the total amount spent on Griezmann including wages, bonuses could rise to £170 million.

Griezmann has become Manchester United's top target and like Pogba, Mourinho will stop at nothing to get his main man. The only stumbling block might arise if United fail to qualify for the Champions League. However, United look on course to win the Europa league with the semi-finals nearly wrapped up after winning Celta Vigo 1-0 in the first leg in Spain.

Mourinho will look to inject some creativity and versatility in his forward line with Zlatan Ibrahimovic not likely to sign a new deal following his ACL tear. With Anthony Martial seemingly on his way out to Sevilla as well, one would imagine that Mourinho will try his hardest to get Antoine Griezmann.
