Man Utd to go all out for Romelu Lukaku
Manchester United will reportedly lodge an £85m bid in order to acquire the services of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
The Belgium international looks to be on his way out of Goodison this summer after he snubbed a fresh long-term deal with the Toffees.
Former club Chelsea have been credited with a potential move for Lukaku over the past month or so, but according to The Star, Jose Mourinho wants to trump his ex-employers to the player's signature.
The Special One has already communicated his intention to club chief Ed Woodward, who could be prepared to cough up an £85m sum for the player's signature - £15m more than what the Toffees are said to value their marksman.
Lukaku, 23, has been in fine touch for the Merseyside club over the course of the season, and he is currently the Premier League's top scorer with 24 goals.
Despite Everton showing an improvement from the previous campaign, Lukaku appears to have decided on a fresh challenge with the club nowhere near the Champions League football he desires.
