Neymar urged to join Manchester United
Brazil international has been urged to make a big-money move to Manchester United this summer if he is to escape the shadow of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.
The 25-year-old has won nearly every title during his time in Catalonia, and his father believes that it is time to move on from the Camp Nou.
Neymar has not enjoyed a fruitful goal run as in the previous campaigns (39 and 31 respectively) and he has been told to switch clubs in the coming transfer window.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol suggests that Neymar. Sr wants his son to join Manchester United in the summer if he is to be recognised as the world's best player.
Neymar, who has bagged just 19 goals this term, recently had a training ground rift with assistant Juan Carlos Unzue who urged him to 'focus more on his football' than his showboating on the pitch.
The Brazilian currently has a £173m release clause on his contract, and any club interested will have to break the world transfer record, which Paul Pogba holds after his £89m move to Manchester United from Juventus in 2016.
