Ricardo Rodriguez agrees AC Milan move
Swiss international Ricardo Rodriguez is reportedly closing in on a move to AC Milan after helping Wolfsburg avoid relegation from the German Bundesliga.
The 24-year-old had been linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal during the winter transfer window before he decided to stay put with the Volkswagen-owned club.
Agent Fabio Parisi has now revealed that a switch to AC Milan could be imminent with only the relegation playoffs hindering the negotiations.
"The negotiations are continuing, it's just Wolfsburg were tied up with the relegation play-offs," Parisi told Radio24.
"Everyone wants to finalise the move, the player wants to join Milan and Milan want to sign him. We just had to wait for the Wolfsburg result. I really think the move will be completed."
The Rossoneri currently under a new Chinese consortium have already expressed their transfer ambitions after having recruited Matteo Musacchio from Villareal on Tuesday afternoon.
Manager Vincenzo Montella has also inked a new long-term deal with the Serie A outfit as he bids to take the club back to their glory days.
