Huddersfield Town keen on former Manchester United graduate
Premier League newcomers Huddersfield Town are keen on pursuing a move for Crystal Palace Fraizer Campbell this summer.
The former Manchester United graduate failed to start a single league game over the course of the 2016/17 season and just managed to bag a goal in 12 substitute appearances.
Campbell will be available on a Bosman once his Eagles contract expires this summer and David Wagner is eager to integrate him into his squad, The Sun reports.
The Terriers earned their first top-flight promotion in 45 years under the former BVB coach following a penalty shoot-out win over Reading.
Huddersfield were lingering near the Championship drop zone a year ago, and the vast improvement has earned them the reward of Premier League football.
The play-off winners will be deemed as relegation favourites next term, but the Terriers could yet put up a surprise just as the likes of Bournemouth and Burnley have done previously.
Huddersfield Town are also keen to wrap up a permanent deal for Chelsea forward Izzy Brown following an impressive loan stint in the second half of the season.
