Florentino Perez seems to have finally found a club that is willing to match his hefty €60 million price tag on James Rodriguez, with Liverpool ready to break the bank for the Colombian.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has not featured Rodriguez in many of the crucial matches this season, instead choosing to field him with the second team in cup competitions and easier league games to rest the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. The 25-year-old did not even make the bench for Real Madrid's Champions League final triumph over Juventus.

Rodriguez wants to leave the Bernabeu and was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. PSG, AC Milan, and Bayern Munich were also said to be interested but neither one of those clubs were willing to meet the hefty €60 million price tag Real Madrid president Florentino Perez slapped on the midfielder.

However, Spanish news outlet Don Balon has reported that Liverpool are willing to match Perez's valuation of Rodriguez to bring the midfielder to Anfield. They will face a challenge though, as the Colombian's first choice is to join Manchester United.

It remains to be seen if Rodriguez's desire to join the Red Devils forces Perez to lower his asking price or if his desperation to leave Los Blancos will be enough for Liverpool to successfully get their man.
