Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have registered their interest in Arsenal flop Lucas Perez and are ready to offer him a lucrative contract to fend off competition from La Liga.

Lucas Perez had a horrible campaign for Arsenal this past season after his highly anticipated £17.1 million move from Deportivo. The forward only scored one goal in the Premier League in just 11 appearances and scored seven goals in 21 games across all competitions.

Having come from Deportivo, where he scored 17 goals in 36 games to steer the club away from relegation, Perez is still valued in La Liga and many clubs want to acquire his services. Arsene Wenger is also ready to sell the striker on the cheap.

Now, Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have registered their interest in the forward and want to bring him to the Turkish Super League, according to Turkish news outlet Fanatik.

The report stated that Perez's agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle confirmed the interest from the Turkish teams and said: "Yes, the proposals are coming up. Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have offered us this."

It is still not known how much was offered but it is likely be more than any La Liga team will be capable of offering.

However, Lovelle reiterated that Perez's first priority is to move back to Spain and only if "there is no option from Spain" will they "look at other options".
