Michy Batshuayi to stall on West Ham approach
Belgium international Michy Batshuayi will reportedly ignore the ongoing interest from West Ham United as he looks to resolve his future at Chelsea.
The former Marseille man was strongly tipped to join the Hammers during the last summer transfer window before the Blues hijacked the deal with sizeable wage package.
Batshuayi therein struggled to make any impression in the Premier League with Antonio Conte sticking with Diego Costa as his first-choice striker until the dying stages of the campaign.
The 23-year-old bagged four goals in his last three league outings for Chelsea including the title-winning goal at the Hawthorns, and he is now keen to discuss his future with Costa seemingly on the move.
Chelsea are plotting a club-record approach for Everton's Romelu Lukaku this summer, but Batshuayi is nevertheless willing to clarify his position in west London.
West Ham United are likely to propose an initial loan contract for the Belgian ace, who made a solitary league start last term.
