The Gunners reportedly rejected a bid of €4.5 million for Szczesny last night from Italian giants Juventus and will only be willing to let the Pole go for €15 million.

Szczesny's performances for Roma this season have made him a highly sought-after goalkeeper this summer, with various clubs across Europe lining up for his services.

With Szczesny having only a year left on his contract at Arsenal, the north London club were poised to sell him and Juventus were thought to have already finalized a deal. Current goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon even confirmed the move in an interview, saying: "He's the made the best choice he could make. I think it's an intelligent marriage between the strongest club and the one who was the strongest goalkeeper last year."

However, according to Italian news outlet Football Italia, Arsenal rejected a bid of €4.5 million from Juventus for Szczesny. Despite only having a year left on his contract, Arsenal are demanding up to €15 million for the Polish international.

The report also stated that manager Arsene Wenger will be more than happy to leave Szczesny on the bench for the entirety of the season should they not receive the offer they are looking for.

Wenger has also previously said he was impressed with Szczesny's performances at Roma and might use him as competition for the number one spot with Petr Cech, especially with David Ospina leaving.
