Borussia Dortmund to make bid for Robert Huth
Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a surprise transfer move for Leicester City defender Robert Huth. The 33-year-old defender, a surprise Premier League winner with the Foxes in 2016, will be allowed to leave his club for a fee of around 10 million euros.
The Foxes are hopeful that a deal to sign West Brom defender Jonny Evans will be agreed before the transfer window closes and subsequently Huth will be allowed to return to his homeland of Germany.
Huth, who first arrived in England 16 years ago as a youngster playing for Chelsea, is ready to wrap up his playing career in his home country.
Dortmund have over 150 million euros to spend on new players this summer having sold Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona for a club record transfer fee.
Dortmund are expected to make a number of high profile transfer signings before the Bundesliga's transfer window comes to a close in a few days time, with Chile star Alexis Sanchez rumoured to be amongst the names linked with a move.
