Eden Hazard rules out Paris Saint-Germain switch
Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has no thoughts of joining Paris Saint-Germain in the future after insisting that he would only favour a return to France with former club Lille.
The 26-year-old was a huge hit during his early days in Lille netting 50 times in 194 outings across all competitions. He left the French outfit for Chelsea back in the summer of 2012, and has since evolved into an influential player for club and country.
Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with an interest in Hazard in the past, but the Belgium international has claimed that Lille are the only club he would play for if he is to return to Ligue 1.
"There are some big clubs, and it was an attractive league even when I played in it six years ago. Big stars want to play in Ligue 1, and that is a good thing. But if I am to return it will be to play for Lille – they are my club," he told SFR Sport.
Hazard has made three substitute appearances for Chelsea this season since recovering from an ankle fracture. He is expected to make his first start when the Blues host Nottingham Forest in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday night.
