Chelsea, Everton keeping tabs on Edinson Cavani
Chelsea and Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on Edinson Cavani following his recent argument with Paris Saint-Germain teammate Neymar on the playing field.
The pair had a spat over a second-half penalty, which the Uruguayan eventually missed during the 2-0 Ligue 1 triumph over Lyon on Sunday.
As a result, Cavani is said to be unsettled at Parc des Princes, and this has kept the likes of Everton, Chelsea and former club Napoli alert over his situation.
Cavani's £120,000-a-week wages are likely to prove a stumbling block for both Everton and Napoli in the New Year, while he may not be assured of a starting spot with Chelsea.
Nevertheless, Paris Saint-Germain could be willing sanction Cavani's sale in January as they are under pressure to balance their books to appease the Financial Fair Play guidelines.
The 30-year-old has continued his good form from the previous campaign with nine goals in eight appearances for Paris Saint-Germain this term.
