Paulo Dybala - United's prime target for next summer

Manchester United could reportedly shatter their transfer record to sign Juventus' Paulo Dybala at the end of the season. The Argentine has made a strong start to his campaign with 12 goals in just eight outings for the Turin giants.

Dybala's talent has been fondly spoken about over the past few years, and the forward appears to have hit his stride this season with an average of more than a goal a game.

Barcelona are said to be long-term admirers of Dybala, who they see as the perfect companion for Lionel Messi, and they are likely to make a formal approach next summer.

However, their plans could be scuppered by United, who are prepared to pay a three-figure sum to lure Dybala from the Juventus Stadium.

United paid a club-record £89m to sign Pogba from Juventus just over a year ago, and chief executive Ed Woodward has already informed the Bianconeri of their interest in the Argentine.

Juventus have made a perfect start to the Serie A season with 18 points from their first six outings, and are only behind rivals Napoli on goal difference.
