Serie A giants ready £75m winter move for Alexis Sanchez
AC Milan could reportedly prise away Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal with a club-record £75m offer in January
The Rossoneri have made an average start to their season, and they are currently nine points adrift of league leaders Napoli with a game in hand.
Vincenzo Montella's side spent over £160m on 11 recruits during the summer, but they are still on the hunt for a new forward after their failed move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Sanchez is currently in the final year of his Gunners contract, and it has recently been suggested that Manchester City could seek a bargain deal for the attacker.
However, according to Don Balon, the Milan could have a big say in the transfer pursuit as they are prepared to pay as much as £75m for the Chile international.
Arsenal bought Sanchez from Barcelona for £35m back in 2014, and his potential sale could earn them a £40m profit rather than losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
Sanchez has been reluctant to extend his Gunners deal beyond next summer, and Milan could present him interesting project, although they can not offer him Champions League football this term.
