Hazard pleased with his partnership alongside Morata

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has heaped praise on summer signing Alvaro Morata with whom he has formed a fruitful partnership this campaign.

The Spain international joined the Blues from Real Madrid for a club-record £60m fee back in July, and he has since contributed seven goals in all competitions.

Morata was brought as a straight replacement for Diego Costa in the Blues' ranks, and Hazard insists that he has formed a good partnership with the 25-year-old - similar to that with Costa.

"He's a top striker. When good players play together, they don't need to train two years," he is quoted as saying on the Blues' official website.

"When we are on the pitch, we can see the movements he does and his technical ability is good so, with Alvaro – and, before, with Diego as well – it's good."

Morata has failed to contribute to the Blues' cause since his return from a hamstring problem, but he will be hoping to get on the scoresheet when his side take on Bournemouth at Dean Court this afternoon.

Chelsea are already nine points behind table-toppers Manchester City, and they face a must-win game at the South Coast - considering they face Manchester United in the next league outing.
