Mourinho hopeful of Bailly involvement versus Spurs

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he will make a late decision on whether Eric Bailly will face Tottenham Hotspur in tomorrow's lunch-time Premier League kickoff.

The Ivory international has missed the last three top-flight games with a groin injury, but the Moutinho is hopeful that the centre-back will start alongside Phil Jones, who has recovered from a hip injury of his own.

"Jones is good, he was on the bench on Tuesday, no need to play, but he was ready - so he is really ready, Mourinho told reporters as per United's official website.

"Eric - let's see, [he'll have] one more training session, but he is the only one that I hope from the injured group that can be ready for tomorrow."

Mourinho's side have had a dismal month of October where they have settled for a draw and defeat to Liverpool and Huddersfield respectively, and this sees them five points behind leaders Manchester City.

Spurs' Harry Kane has reportedly been ruled out of the crunch lunchtime game, and this offers United the perfect opportunity to put pressure on the Citizens by securing all three points.
