West Brom won't sell star players if relegated
West Brom have revealed their plans for life in the Championship should they be forced to relegation this campaign. A club spokesman has told reporters that they will not need to sell their star players to compensate for a lack of Premier League revenue.
The likes of Jake Livermore and Nacer Chadli are amongst the players that have been linked with a move away from the Hawthorns in recent weeks but West Bromwich Albion instead have insisted they will try their best to keep their star players.
Chadli has been linked with a return to Belgium with Anderlecht whilst Jake Livermore is wanted by West Ham.
Under fire manager Alan Pardew has been unable to reverse the club's terrible fortune but remains in his role for now.
A club spokesman Richard Garlick, when asked about life in the Championship, told reporters: “The Club was not under pressure to sell and would only do so when it served the Club’s best interests.”
