Welsh superstar Gareth Bale has been linked with a Bernabeu exit for the last couple of years now, but Spanish media today is reporting that Los Blancos have accepted a £113 million offer for the former Tottenham Hotspur attacker.

Bale, who has twelve goals and seven assists on his record this season, has struggled to become a first-team regular following a string of injuries, which has led to suggestions that the 28-year-old will leave the Spanish capital this summer.

Diario Gol reports today that Real Madrid have accepted a bid in excess of £100 million for Gareth Bale from a Chinese club, however, the player himself is said to not be interested in the slightest with a move to the Far East.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Bale in recent transfer windows and it is understood that he is only interested in making a move to another European club, with a particular desire to return to the Premier League.

With several Premier League clubs preparing their plans for the summer transfer window, the news that Real Madrid are now happy to let Bale go could attract the attention of those clubs who are trying to close the gap on Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, including perhaps his former club, Tottenham Hotspur.

Whilst he is not keen on a transfer there, Gareth Bale is currently in China ahead of his country's international match there on Thursday. Wales' new national team coach, Ryan Giggs, was quoted as saying that Bale was welcomed in China "like a god".
