Real Madrid want Manchester United attacker

Real Madrid have reportedly added Marcus Rashford to their shortlist of targets for this summer's transfer window. The 20-year-old is currently experiencing his best season with Manchester United, having contributed 12 goals across all competitions.

Los Blancos have witnessed a poor defence of their La Liga title this term, and this has intensified the speculation of a squad overhaul during the summer which is likely to be orchestrated by club president Florentino Perez.

Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski and Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane has been earmarked as probable targets over the past week, but according to AS, the European champions are now plotting a move for United's Rashford.

The England international has had a tough 2018 where he has played second fiddle to the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial, but the quality is there on display with the forward netting a quick-fire brace against Liverpool earlier in the month.

Despite the gossip, Manchester United are highly unlikely to listen to offers for their promising graduate, who has more than two years left on his existing deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
