Neymar on Manchester United radar?

Manchester United are reportedly planning a world-record attempt to sign Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar at the end of the current season.

The Brazil international joined Les Parisiens from Barcelona for a world-record £200m fee last summer, and he has since impressed for the Capital club with 26 goals and 16 assists across all competitions.

Despite this, the 26-year-old is not entirely satisfied with his situation at Parc des Princes, and he has been associated with a potential return to La Liga with Real Madrid of late.

However, according to Diario Gol, United could have a say on the player's future with the club's hierarchy mulling over a world-record £260m bid to lure the Brazilian from Les Parisiens.

It is added that the club could be willing to offer midfielder Paul Pogba as a makeweight in order to reduce the overall valuation of the transfer during the summer.

United boss Jose Mourinho has previously highlighted that the club won't spent on attacking recruits in the summer, but Alexis Sanchez's struggles at Old Trafford have got him thinking about the club's frontline.
