McTominay, Romero doubtful for Swansea game

Manchester United pair Scott McTominay and Sergio Romero are doubtful to feature during this weekend's Premier League game against Swansea City.

McTominay was forced to pull out of the Scotland squad to face Hungary with a tight calf muscle, as per The Record, and he is now a doubt to make the starting lineup versus Swansea.

The young midfielder has earned a regular run in Jose Mourinho's side ahead of Paul Pogba, but the Frenchman may probably return to the mix after a strong showing against Russia where he netted a stunning free-kick alongside an assist in a 3-1 win.

Aside from McTominay, the club may also be without the advances of back-up goalkeeper Sergio Romero, who suffered a collision with Diego Costa during a friendly between Argentina and Spain.

Romero could not continue thereafter, and his substitution coincided with a collapse which saw the 2014 World Cup finalists lose 6-1 to La Roja at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
