Jorginho fancies EPL switch

Napoli midfielder Jorginho has opened the possibility of a Premier League move amid interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.

The Italy international has been one of the most influential figures in Napoli's hunt for the Scudetto this term, and this has caught the eye of several elite clubs.

Jorginho's agent recently stressed that there has been no contact from any club regarding his client's situation, but the midfielder has now claimed that he has ability to adapt to Premier League football.

"I think that I could fit," he is quoted as saying by The Mirror. "It depends on who else is around me - I need players with the same characteristics that I have.

"There are English teams with this style of play, ball on the ground, quick transitions, high pressure. If one of those teams wanted me, I could fit and the other way round. My football way is not an usual one."

Out of the interested clubs, Manchester United are said to be the more desperate to pursue Jorginho's signature as they prepare for the exits of both Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick.

Jorginho has managed 24 appearances for Napoli during the ongoing league campaign. He is currently valued at around £50m with his existing deal due to expire in the summer of 2020.
