Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on pursuing a deal for compatriot Joao Cancelo from Valencia at the end of the season.

The Red Devils are said to be eyeing a new right-back for the summer with Antonio Valencia having entered the twilight of his career.

According to Calciomercato, United are in a two-way tussle with Juventus to secure the signature of Cancelo, who is presently on a season-long loan with Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri have the right to buy out his contract during the summer, but their reluctance to match Valencia's £30m price tag could bring other sides into play.

United have been tipped to offload Matteo Darmian in the next transfer window, and his potential switch to the Old Lady make free up the Red Devils in Cancelo's pursuit.

Aside from Cancelo, Arsenal's Hector Bellerin has also been linked with an Old Trafford move, though the Gunners are likely to avoid discussing a deal after losing Alexis Sanchez to their arch rivals in January.
