Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona battle for Ferran Torres signing

Valencia winger Ferran Torres is a target for a host of Europe's top clubs, with Liverpool and Chelsea both joining the race to sign the 18-year-old starlet. A report from the Daily Mail suggests that both Premier League clubs are ready to pay up to 35 million euros to sign the youngster.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are inevitably monitoring Ferran Torres' progress for Valencia and both have instructed their top scouts to prepare a dossier on the talented winger. However, it is understood that Premier League duo Liverpool and Chelsea are confident they can trump the La Liga sides to the signing of the player.
Valencia have indicated that they have no plans to sell the 6 foot winger, who has represented Spain's under-17 side, but it appears that they will be unable to keep Torres should a club execute their right to pay the minimum fee transfer release clause.
Torres has spent his whole career at Valencia, having joined the team as a 6-year-old.
