Lyon's president responds to Liverpool interest in Fekir
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has clarified that the club have receive no approach from Liverpool for the services of club-captain Nabil Fekir.
A recent report from RMC suggested that the Reds have already reached a summer agreement with Les Gones which would see them part with £62m for his signature.
However, the story has been quickly dismissed by Aulas who wants Fekir to play Champions League football with the club next season, he said: "We have had no contact with Liverpool today. Nabil Fekir is here. We hope to keep him and have him playing the Champions League with us next year."
Fekir has had a fine campaign in the French league this season and he has managed 17 goals and a further seven assists in 28 appearances for Les Gones.
His efforts witness the club placed second in the league standings and they require another four points from the remaining fixtures to assure themselves of Champions League football for next season.
