Everton keen on recruiting Arsene Wenger?

Premier League side Everton have reportedly emerged as the front runners to appoint Arsene Wenger as their next head coach. The Toffees are currently under the tutelage of Sam Allardyce whose position is under consideration beyond the current campaign.
According to The Mirror, Toffees majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is keen on luring Wenger to Goodison Park once he ends his 22-year association with the Gunners in the summer.
It is added that former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein is acting as the middle man in the discussions with Moshiri prepared to match the £8m-a-year Wenger currently earns at the Emirates.
The Toffees have jumped clear of relegation under the guidance of Allardyce this season but the fans are said to be disappointed by the manager's style of play which has mostly been defensive.
Wenger has yet to give the nod towards his next head coach role but in a press conference this week, the 68-year-old admitted that he has received plenty of offers.
