Liverpool retain interest in West Ham United attacker
Liverpool have reportedly revived their interest in West Ham United's Manuel Lanzini ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Argentine experienced a stop-start 2017/18 season with the Hammers due to injury but still ended the campaign with a tally of five goals and six assists in 27 league outings.
According to The Mirror, the Reds are planning a probable approach for Lanzini in the summer as they seek to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho's departure to Barcelona in January.
Lanzini has previously suggested that he is content with life at the east London outfit but the Hammers could be lured into a sale if they are unable to discuss a new contract with the player.
The 25-year-old currently has more than 24 months left on his existing deal and talks over an extension are likely to occur following the summer World Cup finals in Russia.
