Everton consider Danny Rose approach
Everton are reportedly planning an attempt to sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur during this summer's transfer window.
The 28-year-old is being tipped to leave Spurs during the summer after experiencing a difficult 2017/18 campaign where he has managed just 10 league appearances.
According to The Mirror, the Toffees are looking into an approach for Rose who they regard as the perfect replacement for Leighton Baines in the left-back role
It is added that the Merseyside outfit are waiting to know whether Spurs intend to sell, and are ready to push through a deal if they are given the green light.
Rose has played second fiddle to Ben Davies for a big part of the 2017/18 season but he managed to feature for the full 90 minutes during Spurs' 5-4 win over Leicester City in the final game of the league season.
Everton spent a club-record £45m to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City last summer and they may have to surpass this figure in order to land Rose.
