Joe Hart linked with shock Manchester United switch
Manchester United are reportedly said to be planning a surprise move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart during this summer's transfer window.
Sergio Romero has played the back-up to David de Gea over the past three seasons but the Argentine is likely to leave Old Trafford ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
As such, the Red Devils have begun their hunt for a new shot-stopper and Hart has supposedly been earmarked as one of their targets, according to The Sun.
Aside from Hart, United are also keeping an eye on Celtic's Craig Gordon and West Bromwich Albion's Ben Foster with the latter having previously plyed his trade at Old Trafford.
Hart's current deal at Manchester City is due to expire at the end of next season and it is widely predicted that he will leave the Citizens with Pep Guardiola deeming him surplus to requirements.
Nevertheless, a move to Old Trafford would come as a huge surprise considering the huge rivalry between the cross-town rivals. Hart recently plyed his trade on a season-long loan with West Ham United.
