Unai Emery eyeing reunion with Sevilla midfielder
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is reportedly keen on working alongside Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi next season. The Spaniard recruited N'Zonzi for the Andalusian club during the summer of 2015.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Emery is eyeing a reunion with the former Stoke City man and the Gunners could trigger the £35m release clause in the Frenchman's contract.
N'Zonzi has gone from strength-to-strength during his time in Spain and this has earned him a spot with France for the upcoming World Cup finals in Russia.
Unlike other midfield targets, the 29-year-old has genuine experience of playing in the Premier League with both Blackburn Rovers and Stoke and this would enhance his prospects of settling in with the Gunners.
N'Zonzi has largely built his reputation with his excellent passing and aerial duels and one of his most dominant performances came against Manchester United last term where he kept both Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba at bay.
