Manchester United quoted price for Napoli centre-back

Manchester United have been quoted a price in excess of £70m in order to pursue the signature of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.

The Red Devils are keen on pursuing an experienced centre-back during the transfer window and Koulibaly has supposedly been earmarked as one of the targets on their summer shortlist.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, the Mancunian giants are said to have enquired about the Senegalese's availability and this has resulted in Napoli placing a £70m price tag on his head.

Koulibaly has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League since the summer of 2016 with Chelsea among the long-term admirers of the former Genk man.

The 26-year-old is presently with the Senegal national side at the summer World Cup and anything regarding his future is expected to be only solved after the tournament. His present deal runs until the summer of 2021.
