Manchester United set Anthony Martial asking price
Manchester United have reportedly placed a £75m price tag on the head of Anthony Martial amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
The 22-year-old has been a decent hit since his arrival from AS Monaco three seasons ago but he is understood to be disappointed with the way he was treated during the second half of last season.
Martial has been one of United's prime performers heading into the New Year where the arrival of Alexis Sanchez hampered his gametime from the starting lineup.
As a result, his agent Philippe Lamboley has indicated that he would like to leave Old Trafford during the summer but United are seemingly prepared to play hardball with regards to the transfer fees.
According to The Mirror, United are keen to make a profit out of the former Monaco man for whom paid an initial £36m fee potentially rising to £58m.
It is added that their £75m price tag is likely to put Tottenham's out of the race whilst Chelsea may have to break their transfer record to pursue the France international.
Martial, who has made nearly 150 appearances for United, has just a year left on his current deal but the club have the option of a 12-month extension clause.
