Liverpool enter race to sign Aston Villa midfielder
Liverpool have reportedly joined the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in the pursuit of Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
The 22-year-old has been tipped to leave the Villains this summer amid their financial concerns and they are said to have put a £40m price on his head.
As such, they have already turned down a £20m offer from Spurs for the midfielder but they could now receive fresh interest from Liverpool, according to The Sun.
The Merseyside outfit are seemingly eyeing another midfielder to bolster their ranks and Grealish is said to be tempted by the opportunity to work under Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool have already recruited Fabinho who is expected to join the Reds next month alongside Naby Keita but Klopp appears keen on adding more depth with the club aiming to challenge for the title next term.
The Merseysiders have got one of the easier starts to the 2018/19 season when compared to their direct rivals and they would surely be disappointed, if they are not at the top of the standings after a few games.
