Moise Kean
Moise Kean
Italian striker Moise Kean is sure to be a household name in the years to come. The 18-year-old striker, who currently plays for Serie A giants Juventus, is widely considered to be one of the best young players in Europe.
Born to parents from the Ivory Coast, Kean began his career playing for Asti before making a move to Torino at just 7 years old. A few years later, Kean made the short move across town to Juventus; from where the Vercelli-born forward has now forced his way through to the club's first-team having played a spell with Juve's youth teams. Last season Kean enjoyed a successful spell with Hellas Verona and is now expected to return to the "Old Lady" to be a part of Juventus' plans for the 2018-19 Serie A season.
Kean, who is under contract with Juventus until 2020, spent one year on loan with Verona and scored 4 goals in 20 games for the club. Alongside his success for his temporary club, he also worked his way up from Italy's under-17 side into the under-19's for whom he made his debut last year.
It is a matter of time until Kean makes his first apperance for Italy's full national side, and for the upcoming season Juventus could decide to send the striker on loan again with a number of potential suitors for the forward.
Kean is powerful in the air, physically strong and has incredible pace. He is famous for his accuracy in front of goal and can play either alone up-front or as a number 10 in the hole behind the main forward.
Even more impressive about Kean is his ability to get back and defend when necessary, as demonstrated last season for Verona.
The forward is a name that may not be well known to many football supporters now, but Kean could possibly be the best player of a generation in Italy. He certainly is at a club with the coaching resources to accomplish success at the very top.
