West Ham United in talks with Jack Wilshere?
West Ham United are reportedly among the leading clubs interested in signing Jack Wilshere. The England international is presently a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Arsenal.
A recent report from The Sun claimed that Wilshere may decide against a Hammers move after being offered just a year's contract but Sky Sports has now suggested that the negotiations are still ongoing between the midfielder and the club's hierarchy.
Aside from West Ham, the likes of Everton, Southampton and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old whilst reports in Turkey have claimed that the midfielder could be on the cusp of joining Fenerbahce.
Wilshere made nearly 200 appearances for Arsenal during his 10-year stay in the first-team but he decided against penning a fresh contract after manager Unai Emery refused to assure him of regular gametime next term. He made 38 appearances for the club during the 2017/18 campaign.
