Liverpool in for Croatian centre-back?
Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida. The 29-year-old is presently with the Croatian national team at the summer World Cup in Russia.
The Reds have recently expressed an interest in pursuing a new wideman with the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri linked but this has not ended Jurgen Klopp's ambition of bolstering the backline.
According to Turkish outlet Aksam, the Reds are keen on recruiting the services of Vida, and they have lodged a bid worth £13m for the Croatia international.
Vida only joined Besiktas from Dynamo Kyiv during the backend of the previous campaign but the Black Eagles could be tempted to cash in on the centre-back after signing him on a free earlier in the year.
Vida, who has also been linked with the likes of Everton, Leicester City and Watford, is expected to partner compatriot and Reds star Dejan Lovren in central defence during Croatia's World Cup quarter-final versus Russia on Saturday.
