Paris Saint-Germain are set to enter the race to sign AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci, Corriere dello Sport reports. Bonucci joined AC Milan from Serie A champions Juventus in the summer of 2017 for a fee reported to be £35m.

Manchester United have been linked with the Italian international as Jose Mourinho continues to look for the best players to help United win their first major trophy under his reign.

United's pursuit was given a blow earlier this month when AC Milan CEO Marco Fassone said that the Rossoneri are not looking to sell the central defender.

However, according to Manchester Evening News, Milan could now sell the player because of their need for money after they were banned from the Europa League for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations.

If AC Milan decide to sell the player, it will be up to him to decide where to go to as both teams are in similar levels in terms of their current football status, but PSG may have a slight advantage because they like splash the cash more than United.
