Ashley Young: There is no point celebrating yet

England wing-back Ashley Young has said that the celebrations surrounding the Three Lions' performance at the World Cup are premature as the trophy has not been won.

England face fellow European side Croatia in the second semi-final of Russia 2018, their first appearance in that stage of the competition since the 1990 tournament in Italy.

"We haven't wont anything yet so there's no point celebrating," Young said, Goal reports.

Young also hailed the team spirit of Gareth Southgate's men, describing it as 'fantastic'.

The former Aston Villa man also echoed the views of fans and pundits that the Three Lions have a big opportunity of winning the trophy for the first time since 1966.

Young also believes that England could have an advantage based on the fact that the Croatians have played 120 minutes in their last two games.

England will be facing a Croatian side boasting of the likes Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic, and Mario Mandzukic.

Zlatko Dalić's men are alongside England the dark horses of the tournament because, prior to the start of World Cup, very few expected them to get this far.
