Jean Michael Seri heading to the Premier League?
Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri has reportedly made his way to London this afternoon amid suggestions that both Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in his signature.
According to French journalist Nabil Djellit, the 26-year-old has travelled to the English capital shortly after deciding against joining his Nice teammates for their training camp.
"Info: Jean-Mika Seri is on London... Pending departure, for reminder, he is in contact with Arsenal, Chelsea... To follow," he wrote on his official Twitter account.
Seri presently has a £35m release clause written into his contract which is due to expire on July 15 and the Ivorian appears keen on sorting out his future by then or else Nice could place any valuation for his services.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the box-to-box midfielder but judging by the recent proceedings, the former appear to be leading the race for the Ivorian.
The FA Cup holders have held a keen interest in Seri over the past month and they should preferably be the front-runners - with Arsenal close to sanctioning deals for midfield duo Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
