Cristiano Ronaldo on the verge of Juventus transfer

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly closing in on a move to Juventus with transfer negotiations said to be at an advanced stage.

According to Sky Sports News, the Bianconeri are keen to wrap up a club-record £88m deal for the Portugal international and Los Blancos are likely to make a decision in the next 48 hours.

Ronaldo has yet to speak anything related to the proposed transfer but his agent Jorge Mendes is said to be in constant contact with the Bianconeri and Los Blancos in order to push through a summer move.

Amidst this, former club Manchester United are said to have made an approach for the five-time Champions League winner but they have been told that discussions are already at an advantage stage with the Bianconeri.

Ronaldo, who is presently on a vacation following the World Cup, has notched 450 goals during his nine seasons at Real Madrid. He has helped the team secure four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns in this period.
