France midfielder Paul Pogba has expressed excitement at Les Blues' qualification for the World Cup final in Moscow after defeating Belgium.

France defeated Belgium by one goal to nothing to qualify for their third World Cup final in twenty years.

“It is beautiful, it is good,” he said to L’Equipe, Manchester Evening News reports. “We are happy, but there is still one more step to take."

The Manchester United midfielder also said that they will make sure they grab the opportunity to win the trophy after they missed out on the Euros to Portugal in 2016.

The former Juventus midfielder spoke of the need to focus on the final after a brief enjoyment of the win over Belgium.

France will face either Croatia or England who face each other on Wednesday in the other semi-final.

It has been a World Cup of surprises with the elimination of the big guns early in the competition, but it will not be a big surprise if the French win the final on Sunday, regardless of who they face.

The French have seen a steady rise in performance levels right from the group stage. With a fit squad and no suspensions to worry about, it is expected that Didier Deschamps men will put up a good performance on Sunday.
