Perisic reacts to Manchester United link
Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic has said he will go on his post-World Cup rest and return to focus on his current club amid links to Manchester United.
Perisic was a regular as Croatia reached their first World Cup final only to lose the cup to France by four goals to two.
In the final, Perisic equalised the opening goal with a well taken strike before the French ran riot to make the game 4-1.
Hugo Lloris' howler gave Mario Mandzukic the opportunity to make it 4-2, but the French held on to deny Perisic a World Cup gold medal.
The former Borussia Dortmund player made it known that he has been focused on his national side during the duration of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
He played seven games in Russia, scoring three goals and bagging one assist to finish as one of the top players of the tournament.
Perisic can use both feet and can play in the left and right side of midfield, an asset for any side.
